Slap a boss spec on there and you’re already doing more dps than anyone not using a Grenade Launcher. No ammo consumption during block means you can really take advantage of counterattack swords as well. And Stronghold is super underrated - as are swords! It really shines during damage phases where you can swing away without a care or taking damage, so long as you time your block correctly. You Stronghold proposition is outrageous - WorldlineZero Launch/Last Word is not a combo that needs to exist in this world. Pair it with (the newly buffed!) Sweet Business And you literally never have to reload, you just chew right through shot and never stop chewing. 3/4 of those are really solid niche exotics.Īticum should probably work with all automatic weapons sure, but that doesn’t mean it’s not good. Not a lot of difference in power from using any other top tier Titan exotic, but it strongly affects Sword gameplay.īruh. even tried it on GoS until final Boss (I'm not that mad). I've got Stronghold in the beginning of this season, and I'm running it on strikes (including ordeal), nightmare hunts, Haunted Forest.
With the Stronghold you not only protect yourself from the Stomp, but you also heal yourself from that stomp. Some people don't like swords so hard that they don't even know about certain buffs, or the fact that Sword Block protects from ANY kind of Stomp, including Taken Phalanx Boop, which makes them good against bosses with stomps. Look at the Stronghold and swords as a whole for example. Because people will always care about most powerful stuff. You know what will happen the next moment when unpopular Exotics turn into Top Tier? People will start complain that previously Top Tier exotics are "grabage" now. Or maybe it is just "what isn't the best - is garbage" mentality? There are exotics that people don't use just because they are not OP, rather than because they are weak. I don’t think anyone could go through that list and make a claim that any one of those isn’t great at what it does. Exotic weapons in d2 are in a pretty damn good place. That’s like 85% of the exotics in the game. MIDA, jade rabbit, huckleberry, Cerberus, malfeasance, Ace of spades, chaperone, izanagis, last word, arbalest, thorn, outbreak, bad juju, Monte Carlo, Riskrunner, telesto, jotuun, Le Monarque, Erianas Vow, Divinity, prospector, Darci, wardcliff, sleeper, whisper, thunderlord, and I could proly throw a couple more in that list of exotics that all have a place where they shine. “Exotics are so terrible” makes you sound like a spoiled kid that because they got everything they wanted for Christmas except one thing. Some are great pvp weapon’s, some are great pve. It’s ok to have good solid exotics that are fun to use. Not all of them need to be endgame PvE dps monsters. Clearly most people know that exotics pigeon holing you into a SINGLE build mean the exotic is not what it should be, either too specific or simply not viable
#Sunbreaker hallowfire heart or inmost light how to
They just aren’t good enough to be useful.Įdit: what’s funny about this post and community, it that when it first got posted people were calling me an idiot saying I didn’t know how to build right. (Love this thing but it’s not great)Īnd before any of you say “oh wait but Aeons can be good if you do this and this when doing this and this” the reality of it is, 99.99% of the time, this gear is out classes by other exotics. This would be different if it was just one but it’s not, just on Titans we have:ĪCD Feedback. I feel like more than new exotics, Destiny could benefit from reworking old unused exotics- maybe via a catalysts for die hard fans of current versions.
We should never see an exotic with 50s+ stats and immediately think “dismantle” Ashen wake- fusion grenades explode on impact and have faster throw speed.
